IPL Fastest Century (100): The Indian Premier League is a popular cricket event that’s held annually and follows the T20 format. IPL first aired in 2008 and is in its 16th season now. Due to the T20 format of the IPL, it has become famous for producing electrifying games full of dramatic chases and edge-of-the-seat batting scenarios.
As rewarding as the IPL is to batters, it’s still incredibly challenging to accomplish one cricket feat: scoring a hundred. However, there are many players who have managed to smash centuries in the IPL. You can check the list of the fastest 100 in IPL here.

Fastest Centuries in IPL: Key Highlights

    • Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Chris Gayle smashed 175 runs in just 66 deliveries against Pune Warriors India (PWI) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on 23 April 2013. It was a cricketing spectacle of the highest order, the likes of which haven’t been witnessed ever again. Gayle, who is known for his aggressive striking and reliance on boundaries, dominated the PWI bowlers and registered an individual score on par with the average total of RCB’s home stadium.
    • At number 2 is India’s own heavy-hitting all-rounder Yusuf Pathan, who scored 100 runs off 37 balls, playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Brabourne Stadium on 13 March 2010.
    • Taking the third spot is South Africa’s middle-order phenom David Miller, who scored a famous 101 knock off 38 balls, playing for Kings XI Punjab against RCB in 2013.
