    IPL Qualifier 1: The moment all cricket lovers around the world have been waiting for has arrived. The IPL playoffs have begun. The Indian Premier League is one of the biggest cricket tournaments in the world and is watched by millions of viewers around the world. The 2023 IPL has been one of the most exciting ones ever and the playoffs are expected to be on the same lines. The first match will be between defending champions Gujarat Titans and four-time champions Chennai Super Kings.

    GT has been performing exceptionally in the league stage and is coming into the qualifier with an aura of invincibility. CSK has the benefit of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the world-cup-winning captain of India, widely considered the greatest player in cricket. MSD’s experience and composure vs Hardik Pandya’s drive and confidence, will be a cricket clash for the ages.     CSK Win by 15 runs, reach the IPL finals for 10th time

    With Rashid Khan’s wicket, the last hope of GT crumbled. CSK bowled out ent entire GT team for 157 runs in 20 overs.

    The entire bowling side of CSK played remarkably. Chahar, Theekshana, Jadeja and Pathirana all took 2 wickets each.

    CSK will make their 10th IPL appearance on May 28 against the winner of Qualifier 2.

    Rashid Khan and Vijay Shankar stage a comeback but two more wickets derail GT

    Rashid Khan and Vijay Shankar make 32 runs in 2 over and bring down the net run rate to 12 per over. But Shankars’ wicket by Pathirana and Darshan Nalkande’s run out again turn the match around in CSK’s favour. It’s all but certain now that CSK will be playing the IPL 2023 finals.

    Rahul Tewatia Bowled by Theekshana!

    Most hopes of GT went down with the wicket of Rahul Tewatia.

    At 102 for 6 after 115 overs, GT doesn’t have much hope left to win the game. However, anything is possible in IPL.

    Rashid Khan has come to bat. He has displayed his skill with the bat previously.

    CSK began snatching the game away from GT during the middle overs. Gill continued to bat well but the desperation of other players resulted in two quick wickets: Dasun Shanaka and David Miller.

    GT maintains a slow pace, trying to preserve wickets to explode later in the match.

    Shubman Gill is Out!

    The MVP of the GT team, Shubman Gill was sent back to the stands by Deepak Chahar with a tricky ball that went straight to Devon Conway as Gill tried to go big.

    A massive turning point in the game.

    This could be the moment CSK seals its birth in the IPL 2023 finals. However, GT still has heavy hitters Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan left to bat.

    GT Batting in the Powerplay: 42/2

    GT openers Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha came on the field determined to give a good start to the team but CSK bowlers had other plans.

    Gill batted well with composure and responsibility, trying to score boundaries when possible.

    Saha was struggling a bit and was dismissed by Deepak Chahar for 12 runs.

    Captain Hardik Pandya quickly followed suit and went away after scoring 8 runs.

    GT didn’t get the start they were looking for, but Gill remained unbeaten.

    CSK got off to a good start but the middle order failed to make their mark once the openers departed.

    CSK After 13 Overs: 99/2

    After a good start, CSK finally slowed it roll. Gt brought in its trump cards Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan to break the partnership.

    Gaikwad was dismissed by Mohit Sharma for 60 runs.

    Its been 13 overs and csk has only lost 1 wicket. The batting linuep is filled with explosive batsmen like Shivam Dube, Ajinkya Rahane, MSD and Rayudu, who’s playing today in turn of Matheesha Pathirana.

    CSK came with intention of scoring high and are striving to achieve that. Kudos to GT bowlers for their smart bowling.

    Noor Ahmad bowled Dube for 1 run. But still, CSK has many players ready to go. Conway is on 31 off 27.
